Simon & Schuster UK’s Simon Global and International Sales team is looking for an enthusiastic and organised Sales Coordinator to join their Simon Global team. Reporting to the Head of Simon Global UK and the Head of Simon Global US, the Sales Coordinator will support with the day-to-day running of the Simon Global team, ensuring the maximisation of profits across all S&S territories. The Sales Coordinator will act as an ambassador for Simon Global across the wider business, representing the team and supporting its objectives.

Sales Support & Coordination

The Sales Coordinator will support the Global Heads with the preparation and follow-up for Simon Global sales conferences, including the coordination of relevant materials and documentation. It also includes preparing sell-in materials, tracking and promoting digital assets, and identifying opportunities for seasonal sales promotions. In addition, the position is responsible for coordinating the selection and set-up of US export editions in line with internal processes and timelines.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration

They will liaise with publicists across all territories to supply materials and support the effective listing and promotion of Simon Global titles on Edelweiss and NetGalley. They will work closely with editorial teams to ensure the timely and comprehensive creation of tip sheets and other key selling materials, as well as maintaining regular communication with Production teams across territories to help deliver a seamless and well-coordinated publishing schedule.

The Candidate Profile

The Sales Coordinator will be highly organised and efficient, with a strong eye for detail and the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines. They will be confident working with colleagues across global territories, using initiative while contributing effectively as part of a team. They will have experience in a comparable support or reporting position. They will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and good IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook). Previous experience with design software would be advantageous. A strong grasp of grammar and communication skills are essential.
