About the Role

KBB Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading national builders’ merchant to recruit an experienced

Kitchen & Bathroom Designer

for their busy Cornwall showroom. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company with a strong reputation for quality, service, and product expertise.

As a Kitchen & Bathroom Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional, stylish, and customer-focused kitchen and bathroom designs for both trade and retail clients. You will guide customers through the full design and ordering process while delivering outstanding service and helping to drive showroom performance.

Key Responsibilities

Produce inspiring and accurate kitchen and bathroom designs using CAD software.

Work closely with trade customers, homeowners, and colleagues to understand project requirements and budgets.

Prepare detailed quotations, product selections, and design recommendations.

Manage customer projects from initial enquiry through to final order.

Maintain excellent product knowledge across all kitchen and bathroom ranges.

Ensure the showroom is well-presented, up-to-date, and an inviting environment for customers.

Collaborate with the wider sales team to meet and exceed sales and design targets.

Build strong, lasting relationships with both new and existing customers.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in kitchen and/or bathroom design.

Proficiency in CAD design software (e.g., ArtiCAD, Fusion, Winner, or similar).

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Confidence working with targets and sales processes.

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

Good understanding of KBB products, materials, and installation processes.

Positive, professional, and team-focused attitude.
