Trade Counter Assistant

Job Title: Trade Counter Assistant Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm Location: West Worcestershire Simon Acres Group are working in partnership with a well-established trade supplier to recruit a Trade Counter Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and growing team in a customer-facing role offering long-term progression and full training for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service & Sales * Engage with customers in person, over the phone, and online. * Offer guidance on products, materials, and equipment suited to their needs. * Process sales transactions and issue accurate invoices. Stock & Logistics Support * Manage stock levels, ensuring availability of essential materials. * Order and replenish supplies, maintaining up-to-date records. * Assist with deliveries, including loading/unloading and moving goods to storage. * Pick and prepare orders, coordinating timely deliveries to customers. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * A hands-on approach and willingness to undertake physical tasks. * Previous experience in a trade environment (plumbing, heating, or similar) is advantageous, but not essential as training will be provided. * A proactive attitude and ability to work well in a fast-paced setting. * This is a full-time, permanent role offering stability, training, and the opportunity to build a career in a respected trade environment.
