Simon Acres Recruitment are seeking a Trade Counter Assistant for a highly successful independent supplier of construction products based in the Surrey area, renowned for their extensive product range and exceptional customer service.

The Trade Counter Assistant role is ideal for an outgoing and personable candidate who has the confidence to take customer orders and provide key product information to our clients' customers.

Salary: Circa 31,000 Per Annum

Hours: Monday - Friday, Every other Saturday (Half day)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and build strong relationships with trade customers
  • Process orders efficiently and offer tailored product advice
  • Occasionally assist with warehouse and yard duties, including picking and packing customer orders
  • Work collaboratively with the team to meet sales targets and maintain branch standards

  • Experience: A background in the construction industry is advantageous, particularly with product and sales knowledge
