About the Role

This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work as a self-employed Bedroom Fitter, installing high-quality fitted bedroom furniture in customers’ homes. You will play a key role in delivering professional installations, ensuring excellent workmanship, and representing the business to the highest standard on every project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install fitted bedroom furniture including wardrobes, sliding wardrobes, drawers, dressing tables, media units, and home office furniture.
  • Read and interpret survey drawings and installation paperwork accurately.
  • Ensure all installations are completed to company quality standards.
  • Liaise with the Installation Manager regarding any site issues or variations.
  • Carry out minor remedial works where required.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy working environment within customers’ homes.
  • Complete installations within agreed timescales.
  • Deliver excellent customer service throughout the installation process.

Requirements / Skills:

  • Proven experience in fitted bedroom furniture installation preferred.
  • Strong carpentry and fitting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve on site.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and plans.
  • High attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
  • Must be self-employed.
  • Own van, tools, and insurance required.
  • Willingness to travel within allocated region.
  • Compliance with health and safety regulations.
