Branch Assistant

Branch Assistant Location: West Sussex Salary: Around £30,000 (Negotiable and dependent on Experience) + Generous Bonus Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (44 hours per week) Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join a well-established plumbers’ merchant team as a Branch Assistant. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and providing essential administrative support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities * Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selection and inquiries. * Accurately process sales transactions and manage account-related queries. * Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business. * Promote new products, special offers, and seasonal promotions. * Handle telephone and email inquiries promptly and professionally. * Assist in the warehouse as required. * Assist with deliveries as required. Candidate Requirements: * Previous experience in a plumbers\’ or builders merchant environment is preferred. * Strong customer service and communication skills. * Basic knowledge of plumbing and heating products is advantageous. * Proficiency in using sales and inventory management software. * Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. * A proactive approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
