Main purpose of the role:

Simmons Adaptive are looking for a Financial Services Regulatory lawyer to support a Financial Institution from July for an initial 5 month period. The successful consultant will be providing advice on legal and regulatory requirements and change processes. There is hybrid working available, with 2 days from the London office and 3 days working from home.

Person specification:

  • You are a qualified lawyer with in-depth financial services regulatory experience.
  • You will have experience with ring-fencing.
  • You will have strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate complex analysis in a clear and concise manner.
  • You will have experience working with senior stakeholders and across different jurisdictions.
  • You are able to work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines, with a high level of organisation.
  • You can work autonomously but can also collaborate as part of the wider team.
  • You will be required to hold the relevant right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
