Main purpose of the role

Simmons Adaptive are keen to hear from data privacy lawyers who are interested in supporting a client at Simmons & Simmons.

This is expected to be a full-time (with three days in the London office) transactional role for 6 months.

Person specification

  • You are a qualified lawyer with data privacy experience.
  • You have previously worked within a financial services client.
  • You have experience conducting DPIAs and vendor DDQ reviews.
  • You have experience managing data subject requests, data loss events and privacy-related HR advisory matters.
  • You have experience supporting the development of privacy frameworks.
  • You are a problem solver and offer a collaborative approach.
  • You are able to work in a dynamic and fast moving environment.
  • You are able to work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines.
  • You have excellent organisation skills with the ability to effectively prioritise workloads.
  • You can work autonomously but can also collaborate as part of the wider team.
  • You will be required to hold the relevant right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
