Main purpose of the role: Simmons Adaptive are seeking an interim contentious construction lawyer to support our Dispute Resolution practice group at Simmons & Simmons.
Person specification:
- Qualified lawyer with proven experience in construction disputes, gained within a leading private practice or an in‑house legal team.
- Experience with building safety related disputes.
- Strong experience in contentious construction law, including litigation, arbitration and adjudication.
- Experience with standard form construction contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC, etc.).
- Problem‑solving ability and a collaborative approach.
- Capable of working in a dynamic and fast‑moving environment.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines quickly and effectively.
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.
- Required right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available).
