Main purpose of the role: Simmons Adaptive are keen to hear from banking/finance lawyers who are interested in supporting our client, a leading industry body. This is a full time opportunity, working a hybrid model with 3 days in the office for a duration of 6 months.
- Provide hands-on legal, analytical and project support across structured finance, leveraged finance and alternative credit workstreams.
- Take ownership of discrete projects, support committees and working parties.
- Assist with documentation reviews, regulatory research and consultation drafting.
- Help progress strategic initiatives and market-facing outputs.
Person specification:
- You are a qualified lawyer with banking/finance experience from a leading private practice or in-house role.
- Strong familiarity with loan market practice and LMA-style documentation.
- Experience with regulatory engagement and non-transactional project work preferred.
- You are a problem solver and offer a collaborative approach.
- You are able to work in a dynamic and fast moving environment.
- You are able to work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines.
- You have excellent organisation skills with the ability to effectively prioritise workloads.
- You can work autonomously but can also collaborate as part of the wider team.
- You will be required to hold the relevant right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
