As an Adaptive consultant, you will be fully supported by the Simmons & Simmons team with a sponsoring Partner and a client team with whom we would encourage you to engage on a regular basis. Main purpose of the role:
Simmons Adaptive is currently looking for a commercial and technology lawyer to support a client in the technology space for 12 months.
The successful consultant will manage and negotiate procurement contracts across technology, marketing and professional services. Our client is looking for someone who is able to work in a high demand environment and who actively seeks out creative solutions.
Person specification:
- You are a qualified lawyer with training from a top tier practice.
- You have experience working in house, preferably within the technology sector.
- You have previous technology and commercial experience; experience with procurement contracts and privacy law is an advantage.
- This role would suit candidates with 3-5 years + PQE; however, we encourage candidates of all levels to apply.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills and can communicate complex analysis in a clear and concise manner.
- You can work autonomously but also collaborate effectively as part of the wider team.
- You are a self-motivated team player, with a desire to develop strong relationships and excellent time management skills.
- You will be required to hold the relevant right to work for the UK; visa sponsorship is not available via Adaptive.
