## Responsible Business ManagerApply: London: Full time: Posted Today: JR102236**The role:**We are looking for a Responsible Business Manager to join our Pro Bono department in London.The Responsible Business Manager will support the firm’s social impact and volunteering programmes, charitable giving, external reporting, regulatory compliance, and the integration of ESG, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability considerations into day-to-day operations.**What will you do:*** **Strategy and impact measurement:** Support the development and delivery of the firm’s Responsible Business strategy, including materiality assessments, theory of change methodology, impact measurement, and the setting and monitoring of KPIs.* **Reporting and external disclosures:** Lead responsible business, ESG and regulatory reporting, including the annual Sustainability and Impact Report, UN Global Compact submission, EcoVadis response, Modern Slavery Statement, and updates for senior stakeholders, internal committees and external frameworks.* **Stakeholder and client support:** Build effective relationships with stakeholders across the firm. Provide clear, timely input into pitches, RFPs and client requests, helping to demonstrate the firm’s ESG and responsible business credentials.* **Policy development:** Manage the review, development and implementation of responsible business policies and best practice guidance aligned with the firm’s purpose-driven approach to business.* **Charitable Foundation:** Lead the day-to-day operation of the Charitable Foundation, including the annual donation process, trustee meetings, policy updates, charitable payments, and the annual impact report for trustees.* **Strategic charitable partnerships:** Develop and support the Foundation’s strategic charitable partnerships, encouraging global engagement from the firm’s people and maximising impact for charity partners.* **Cross-firm coordination:** Coordinate regular meetings between key teams to ensure responsible business and ESG activities are joined up and aligned across the firm.* **External engagement:** Represent the firm on relevant external committees and networks, sharing insight and supporting the firm’s responsible business profile.* **Social impact and volunteering:** Grow the firm’s social impact and volunteering offering for its people and clients, supporting meaningful engagement and participation across the business.* **Responsible procurement:** Work closely with Enterprise Risk Management and other teams to embed sustainability and ESG considerations into procurement and supplier management processes, including environmental performance, human rights and modern slavery risk.* **Events:** Support the planning and delivery of events, including the annual Pro Bono & Responsible Business Awards.* **Communications:** Develop and coordinate internal and external communications that promote responsible business activity, impact and engagement.* **Governance and committees:** Support the Responsible Business Board and relevant internal committees, including preparing papers, updates and performance reports.**What we are looking for:*** Excellent communication, coordination and project management skills.* Strong knowledge and experience of responsible business, corporate social responsibility, ESG, sustainability or social impact.* Experience supporting responsible business, ESG, regulatory or impact reporting processes.* Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders in a complex organisation.* Strong writing, editing and content development skills, including the ability to produce clear papers, reports and client-facing content, with excellent attention to detail.* Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in line with the firm’s goals and values.* Experience with data collection, analysis and reporting.* Ability to identify risks, escalate issues and apply good judgement.* Ability to build trusted working relationships across teams, demonstrating diplomacy, discretion and sound judgement in a professional services environment.**Career Level:**The career level assigned to this role is level 3. The career level framework provides a formal structure for the business services functions at the firm.
