Our leveraged and acquisition finance team operates as a fully integrated global practice acting for banks, sponsors, corporates, credit funds and alternative lenders on some of the most complex, challenging and innovative transactions worldwide. Our practice is broad and includes acting on public bids, private acquisitions and other event driven financings, leveraged financings, investment grade loans, working capital facilities, asset backed and receivables financings and trade financings as well as general corporate treasury matters.

You will have strong transactional and acquisition / leveraged finance experience gained from working in an international or leading UK firm. Main Duties & Responsibilities

We have an ambitious strategy to grow our Private Equity and Acquisition Finance offering across both our banking and corporate teams and we are now looking for clever, ambitious and commercially minded senior associates (5+ PQE) with specialist mid-market Leveraged / Acquisition Finance experience to join our growing banking team. The successful candidate will work as part of our full service team of partners, associates, trainees and paralegals on complex and innovative transactions for our national and international client base. Candidates will have a good range of both transactional and general banking experience, ideally gained from working within an international or leading regional firm.

  • Excellent academics.
  • Applicants will ideally have at least 5 PQE, which will have been gained at another international or leading regional firm.
  • Strong client focus with an ability and willingness to get actively involved in marketing and business development.
  • Commercially driven.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a diverse and inclusive team.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to work additional hours on occasion as required.
