As an Adaptive consultant, you will be fully supported by the Simmons & Simmons team with a sponsoring Partner and a client team with whom we encourage regular engagement. You will have access to the firm's resources and know-how and the opportunity to be involved in training and development at the Firm.

Main purpose of the role:

Simmons Adaptive are keen to hear from detail-oriented and highly organised paralegals interested in supporting a key ENRIC client at Simmons & Simmons. This is expected to be a full-time role for 3 months, with four days in the London office.

Person specification:

  • You have previous experience as a paralegal or legal assistant within a UK law firm or in-house legal team.
  • You are happy to work on a broad array of matters with a wide range of team members.
  • You have previous experience with NDAs or data subject access requests.
  • You have experience drafting, reviewing and amending powers of attorney, terms and conditions and other ancillary documents.
  • You are equipped to conduct legal research on UK legislation, regulation and case law.
  • You are a problem solver and offer a collaborative approach.
  • You are able to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
  • You can work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines.
  • You have excellent organisation skills with the ability to effectively prioritise workloads.
  • You can work autonomously but also collaborate as part of the wider team.
  • You will be required to hold the relevant right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
