As an Adaptive consultant, you will be fully supported by the Simmons & Simmons team with a sponsoring Partner and a client team with whom we encourage regular engagement. You will have access to the firm's resources and know-how and have the opportunity to be involved in training and development at the Firm.
Main purpose of the role:
Simmons Adaptive are keen to hear from leveraged finance lawyers interested in supporting a key client at Simmons & Simmons. This is expected to be a full-time (with three days in the London office) transactional role for 6 months.
Person specification:
- You are a qualified lawyer in England or another common law jurisdiction, with experience practising in the UK.
- You have experience in leveraged finance, with knowledge of other lending structures (e.g., private credit, unitranche, infrastructure deals), gained either in-house or in private practice.
- You have familiarity with LMA documentation.
- You are a problem solver and offer a collaborative approach.
- You are able to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
- You can work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines.
- You have excellent organisation skills with the ability to effectively prioritise workloads.
- You can work autonomously but also collaborate as part of the wider team.
You will be required to hold the relevant right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
