Main purpose of the role
Simmons Adaptive are keen to hear from junior Australian or New Zealand qualified lawyers across a range of specialisms including:
- Commercial: general commercial, outsourcing commercial IT contracts, AI and digitalisation
- Corporate and M&A: cross-border transactions and private equity
- Banking & Finance: leveraged finance, acquisition finance, project finance and general banking
- Intellectual property & technology: technology transactions, software licensing, Saa S agreements, data protection.
- Competition / Antitrust: regulatory investigation and merger control
Responsibilities
Assignments will typically involve working in-house with our clients or supporting internally at Simmons & Simmons teams on key matters, depending on business needs.
Person specification
- You are a qualified lawyer with experience from a top tier law firm.
- You are a problem solver and offer a collaborative approach.
- You are able to work in a dynamic and fast moving environment.
- You are able to work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines. You have excellent organisation skills with the ability to effectively prioritise workloads.
- You can work autonomously but can also collaborate as part of the wider team.
- You will be required to hold the relevant right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
- You will be based or shortly relocating to the UK.
