Overview
As an Adaptive consultant, you will be fully supported by the Simmons & Simmons team with a sponsoring Partner and a client team with whom we would encourage you to engage on a regular basis. You will have access to the firm’s resources and Know-how and have the opportunity to be involved in training and development at the Firm. Simmons Adaptive is the flexible resourcing team for leading international law firm, Simmons & Simmons.
Main purpose of the role
Simmons Adaptive is keen to hear from real estate finance lawyers to support our client, a leading provider of real‑estate finance. This is a full‑time assignment due to commence in January, with an expected duration of 3–6 months. In this role, you will assist with the execution of loans ranging from £/€30–100 million, primarily focusing on residential and logistics sectors with mid‑market sponsors. You will work closely with the client and their stakeholders to facilitate the loan execution process, as well as provide support throughout the credit assessment and approval process. The role is dedicated to loan execution and credit processes, with no requirement for investor reporting, investor relations, or broader fund‑management activities, as all capital is provided by the client.

- Qualified lawyer with proven experience in real‑estate finance, gained within a leading private practice or an in‑house legal team.
- Experience with loan execution and credit processes.
- Problem‑solving mindset and collaborative approach.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment.
- Ability to work quickly, effectively to tight deadlines, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.
- Capable of working autonomously while also collaborating as part of the wider team.
