Main purpose of the role
Simmons Adaptive is seeking an interim contentious construction lawyer to support our Dispute Resolution practice group at Simmons & Simmons.
Person specification
- England & Wales qualified lawyer with proven experience in construction disputes, gained within a leading private practice.
- Extensive UK domestic court work experience.
- Ideally experience with building safety related disputes.
- Strong experience in contentious construction law, including litigation, arbitration and adjudication.
- Experience with standard form construction contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC, etc.).
- Problem solver with a collaborative approach.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast moving environment.
- Ability to work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines; excellent organisation with the ability to prioritise workloads.
- Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
