Simmons Adaptive is the flexible resourcing team for leading international law firm, Simmons & Simmons.

Main purpose of the role: Simmons Adaptive are keen to hear from securitisation lawyers who are keen to support our investment banking client for a parental leave cover of 6 months, with potential to extend. The team provides transactional legal support for securitisation transactions backed by all asset classes, including CLOs and synthetic risk transfer (SRT) trades. This is a full time assignment, working a hybrid model.

Person specification:

  • You are a qualified lawyer with proven experience in securitisation, gained in a leading private practice or an in-house legal team.
  • You are a problem solver and offer a collaborative approach.
  • You are able to work in a dynamic and fast moving environment.
  • You are able to work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines.
  • You have excellent organisation skills with the ability to effectively prioritise workloads.
  • You can work autonomously but can also collaborate as part of the wider team.
  • You will be required to hold the relevant right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
