I am partnering with a leading, private equity-backed global business, who are seeking a highly skilled Construction Lawyer to join their in-house legal team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a lawyer looking to make a significant impact in a fast-moving and collaborative corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Contracts: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including supply agreements, service contracts, distribution agreements, and joint ventures, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals.
- Construction Projects: Provide legal advice and support on various construction projects, including procurement, contractor agreements, disputes, and claims, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance throughout all stages of project delivery.
- Risk Management: Assess and advise on legal risks, and help develop strategies to mitigate risks related to commercial agreements, construction contracts, and operational activities.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, procurement, project managers, and other business units, to provide proactive legal support.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure the business complies with relevant laws and regulations, including construction-related legislation, industry standards, and corporate governance.
