Simmons & Hanbury have been instructed by a leading investment management business, based in London, who are looking to expand their legal team with an experienced and highly skilled Senior Counsel to join their Private Markets team. The successful candidate should have experience working in a transactional role with either international law firm experience and ideally some in-house experience in investment management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing legal support across private equity and infrastructure investments for the firm.
- Supporting on launching new funds/fund change work whilst liaising with external counsel.
- Supervise and train team members where expertise can be shared.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 6 years PQE.
- Extensive transactional experience in Private Equity and/or infrastructure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
