Regulatory Legal Assistant

Our client is a leading Macro Hedge Fund with a global presence, known for its sophisticated investment strategies and dynamic approach to financial markets. They are seeking a skilled and motivated Funds Paralegal to join their legal team. They are in the office five days a week.
The successful candidate will support the legal team in all aspects of hedge fund operations, with a focus on fund formation, regulatory compliance, and general legal matters related to the firm\’s investment activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious paralegal with experience in the investment management sector.

Providing support on regulatory filings and compliance matters, including FATCA, AIFMD, and other relevant regulations.
Liaising with external legal counsel and other stakeholders, including fund administrators, auditors, and investors.
Maintaining and organising fund documentation and legal records.
Conducting legal research on fund-related matters and relevant market trends.
Supporting the legal team with ad hoc tasks as required.

A law degree (or equivalent qualification) or relevant experience in the financial services sector.
At least 4 years\’ experience working in a funds or investment management environment, ideally within hedge funds or asset management.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and the structure of hedge funds.
