Job Description
We are currently supporting an Asset Management client to hire a non-financial risk manager to join the team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the operational risk framework, including RCSA, KRIs, incident management, and issue tracking
- Identify, assess, and challenge operational risks across investment, operational, and support functions
- Lead or support risk assessments related to change initiatives, new products, or regulatory requirements
- Support operational incident analysis, root cause reviews, and remediation tracking
- Prepare risk reporting for senior management, risk committees, and boards as required
- Act as a point of contact for operational risk queries from the business
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in operational risk within an investment manager, asset manager, or hedge fund
- Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks, controls, and governance
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and providing effective challenge
- Comfortable operating in a hands-on, delivery-focused contract role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
