Simmons & Hanbury are working with a highly ranked international law firm on a Senior Associate hire into their Warranties & Indemnities team in London.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise insurer and reinsurer clients on coverage matters and disputes relating to financial lines and political risk insurance.
- Lead the handling of complex warranties and indemnities (W&I) insurance claims, including policy interpretation, coverage assessments, and the development of litigation and arbitration strategies.
- Manage high-value, multi-jurisdictional disputes across casualty and financial lines insurance.
Requirements
- At least 3 years post-qualification experience with a strong background in insurance disputes and/or financial lines insurance.
- Proven experience advising on W&I insurance claims, coverage issues, and related disputes.
- Exposure to political risk, financial lines, or casualty insurance matters is advantageous.
- Excellent litigation, legal analysis, and drafting capabilities.
