An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Company Secretarial Assistant to join the Corporate Governance team within a fast-paced, regulated organisation. This role suits someone with governance experience who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders and contributing to effective corporate governance practices.
Working alongside the Company Secretary and wider Governance team, you will help ensure governance processes run efficiently, records are maintained accurately, and statutory obligations are met.
As Company Secretarial Assistant, you will provide comprehensive support across Executive, Board and Committee governance activities. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating meetings and preparing and reviewing governance documentation
- Producing accurate minutes and maintaining action and decision logs
- Supporting the maintenance of statutory records and entity information, ensuring corporate data remains accurate and up to date
- Managing KYC documentation and supporting regulatory, audit and due diligence requests
- Maintaining governance policies and procedures
- Assisting with a broad range of company secretarial and governance activities
This position offers excellent exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to develop a broad skill set in governance and company secretarial practice within a complex, regulated environment.
About you:
- Previous experience in a governance role, and CGI qualified or working towards the qualification
- Strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to produce high-quality minutes
- Strong communication skills, with the confidence to build effective relationships with senior stakeholders across the business
- Experience within a regulated environment is advantageous but not essential
- This role is hybrid but can offer a lot of flexibility for the right candidate
