Simmons and Hanbury have been exclusively instructed by a global fintech business on an interim Legal Counsel position based in London. The role reports to an excellent General Counsel and forms a key part of a high performing team. The role is hybrid with a minimum of 1-2 days in London per week. It's a fantastic opportunity to join a high calibre business, working on a variety of commercial, product and regulatory matters, mainly within the UK market.
The position
The role is broad, but with a focus on commercial and regulatory work supporting on a range of matters including commercial contracts, FS regulatory work, and some company secretary support. On offer is a highly competitive salary and chance for growth and development.
Experience requirements
- 5+ PQE years experience
- Strong academic background.
- In-house experience preferably in high growth company with broad experience.
- Experience working in areas such as fintech, payments or consumer tech/financial services.
- Strong commercial awareness, conviction, and willingness to provide considered, practical and calibrated advice.
