Legal Counsel (Commercial Tech) - 12 month FTC
Simmons and Hanbury have been instructed by one of the world's leading publishing groups on a Legal Counsel (12 month FTC) hire into their top tier legal team in London.
As Legal Counsel you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the legal and compliance of the group both regionally and globally. Providing legal assistance on a broad range of commercial, IP and licensing agreements across the group.
Working closely with business advisors, providing legal advice to assist them in their decision making. Playing a crucial role in the success and development of the General Counsel's office at group level.
Between 4+ years PQE having trained with an established commercial practice at a leading UK/US law firm OR In-house. European qualified lawyer with a strong academic record. Contract drafting and negotiating with experience advising on privacy/GDPR topics.
