They are looking for a "Player Manager", someone who is happy to be hands-on and enjoys working closely with stakeholders, but also someone who would relish the opportunity to develop and set the strategy for the legal team.
- Manage, provide guidance and set the strategy for the legal team
- Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts
- Horizon scanning for potential regulatory changes, and communicating to the business as appropriate
- Advising on and helping to resolve complex matters including regulatory interactions, litigation and other complex matters
- Demonstrable experience drafting, negotiating and advising on commercial contracts
- Experience within the financial services sector is highly desirable
