A fast growing Financial Services business in London is looking to recruit a Senior Legal Counsel to join their team. Working closely with two other experienced lawyers, the role will focus mainly on technology procurement contracts for the bank.
About the Role
- Drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts with a specific focus on IT, procurement and outsourcing agreements. This will involve negotiating bespoke terms with suppliers.
- Advising on data protection and intellectual property issues.
- A willingness to learn about the regulatory issues that affect the Bank; prior experience in this realm is not a pre‑requisite.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
- Circa 5+ years of post‑qualification experience.
- Previous experience advising on complex commercial tech and/or procurement agreements, ideally whilst working at a law firm, technology business or another financial institution.
- Experience of developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders.
