The Firm
Simmons & Hanbury are exclusively partnered with a top tier boutique Global Investment Bank who are seeking a high calibre Corporate Counsel to join their growing Legal team on an initial 12 month FTC starting in April. The firm in question are involved in some of the worlds largest and most high profile transactions and have grown significantly over the past few years.
The Role
The business are now looking for a Corporate M&A/PE counsel to join the high quality, dynamic Legal & Compliance function to support across both public and private M&A transactions. The incoming lawyer would be involved in all transactional work as well as a broad suite of other legal matters relating to the business. This is a truly exceptional opportunity for an ambitious Corporate/PE associate to get involved in some of the highest calibre of M&A transactions in a brilliant, In-House role. They put real emphasis on creating a collaborative and entrepreneurial working environment and want the brightest and most talented individuals to work with the business to create a lasting impact for both clients and the business alike.
Experience Requirements:
- Circa 5-8 years PQE - English or US Qualified Corporate / M&A lawyer, either from top tier private practice or investment bank.
- In-house experience (either from a secondment or prior role) highly desirable.
- Strong exposure to M&A / investment banking essential.
- Strong negotiation skills and sensibility to interact with clients from around the world.
- Excellent academic record.
- Ambitious, motivated, ability to work in a dynamic and agile environment.
