Are you an experienced Property Manager who enjoys building strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors while providing first-class service? Are you looking for a busy and challenging role with genuine career progression? We are working with a friendly and supportive Residential and Commercial Property business who are looking for an experienced and professional Property Manager, working from their South Birmingham offices.

At this long-established and highly regarded property business, you will be a key member of the Residential Lettings team, taking ownership of a portfolio of around 500 residential properties and carrying out regular inspections, with around 200 visits per year. Your proactive approach and eye for detail will ensure that properties are safe, compliant, and maintained to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular property inspections and arranging follow-up actions.
  • Managing day-to-day tenant queries and maintenance requests.
  • Coordinating with trusted contractors and suppliers to ensure timely repairs, maintenance, and compliance checks.
  • Ensuring all properties meet legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting new tenant move-ins and checkouts with efficiency and care.
  • Building strong, professional relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • At least 2 years experience in residential property management (3+ years preferred).
  • A strong knowledge of lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
  • The ability to identify technical issues during inspections and coordinate appropriate solutions.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Confidence working both independently and within a supportive team.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • ARLA/Propertymark qualification (advantageous but not essential).
