Simkiss Recruitment Solutions are delighted to be recruiting for a Communications and Partnerships Manager on behalf of a highly regarded, world-leading arts organisation based in Birmingham. This is a unique opportunity to join an inspiring and forward-thinking organisation at a pivotal time of growth, within a newly created role that will play a key part in shaping and strengthening communications, visibility and partnership activity across the organisation.
With a strong reputation for excellence, innovation and audience engagement, this organisation is entering an exciting new phase, and this position offers the chance to make a genuine impact across both internal and external communications functions. Working closely with senior leadership, you will take ownership of delivering a cohesive and engaging communications strategy, ensuring that messaging is aligned across multiple departments including marketing, digital, fundraising and PR.
You will lead on regional and organisational PR activity, building strong relationships with journalists, media outlets and digital creators, whilst creating compelling and engaging content that enhances brand visibility and audience reach. Alongside this, you will play a vital role in strengthening internal communications, ensuring teams across the organisation are informed, engaged and aligned through clear and impactful messaging, whilst identifying and developing internal stories that reflect success, culture and organisational priorities.
In addition, the Communications and Partnerships Manager will support the development and activation of high-profile partnerships, working collaboratively with both marketing and development teams to maximise engagement, brand exposure and fundraising opportunities. You will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and external partners, contribute to partnership proposals and campaigns, and ensure successful delivery and reporting of partnership initiatives.
This is a highly varied and hands-on role, requiring a proactive and confident individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative and creative environment. The successful candidate will be an experienced communications, PR or marketing professional with a strong track record of delivering impactful campaigns and content.
You will possess exceptional writing and storytelling skills, alongside excellent organisational and project management abilities, and a natural flair for building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Experience within the arts, cultural, charity or related sectors would be highly advantageous, as would exposure to partnership development or stakeholder engagement.
You will be confident working both strategically and operationally, adaptable in your approach, and passionate about delivering inclusive, engaging and high-quality communications.
