Simkiss Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for an Accounts Administrator on behalf of a well-established and growing property-focused organisation based in Five Ways. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual to join a friendly and supportive finance team within a professional environment where no two days are the same.
Working closely alongside the Head of Accounts, this role will play a key part in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the finance function, whilst also acting as a first point of contact for incoming office enquiries. This is a varied Accounts Administrator position that will involve a combination of accounts administration, payment processing and wider office support responsibilities.
Duties will include:
- Accurately processing and allocating incoming payments
- Monitoring bank transactions
- Maintaining financial records
- Responding to account queries
- Supporting reconciliations and month-end administration
- Assisting with day-to-day office coordination
- Professionally handling incoming calls
- Supporting colleagues across the wider business where required
The successful candidate will have previous experience within an Accounts Assistant, Accounts Administrator or similar finance support role, alongside strong attention to detail and a proactive, organised approach. You will be confident using Microsoft Office systems, particularly Excel, and comfortable managing customer or client queries in a professional manner.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working within a structured environment, thrives when juggling a varied workload and values being part of a collaborative and supportive team. Experience within the property or block management sector would be advantageous, although not essential.
