If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join a dynamic and forward-thinking residential construction business, based in Stourbridge.
In this varied and pivotal Finance Manager role, you will support the Managing Director in overseeing the full finance function, ensuring the smooth and accurate delivery of monthly management accounts and all associated reporting. You will be responsible for key accounting processes including:
- Month-end reporting
- Forecasting
- Processing of sales and purchase ledger functions
- Reconciling bank and supplier statements
You will play a central role in preparing and submitting VAT and CIS returns, managing WIP calculations, and liaising with external accountants on financial adjustments and audits. With a strong understanding of the construction industry, you will confidently handle the day-to-day transactional recording, including:
- Journals
- Sales invoicing
- Purchase orders
- Staff expenses
You will also oversee HMRC payments and contribute to financial planning through accurate forecasting and system updates. A sound knowledge of the Domestic Reverse Charge (DRC) is essential.
