NATO HQ Supreme Allied Command Transformation (NATO SACT) is seeking contract support to access to leading-edge capabilities necessary to adapt to future threats, integrate advanced technologies to modernize the force, explore long-term military strategy to shape how NATO's forces will operate in the future, and promote interoperability between current and next-generation platforms. To support our NATO customer, SimIS seeks an Information Systems Analyst to provide senior technical oversight and complex analysis leadership for guiding the development and integration of emerging technologies to support NATO force design and strategic decision making.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology.
  • Eight (8) years of experience designing new or modifying existing computer systems, including hardware and software components, to improve efficiency and functionality.
  • Four (4) years of experience analyzing user requirements in order to understand and define the organization's needs for information systems.
  • Advanced CompTIA CASP+ certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and develop new systems to improve production or workflow as required.
  • Develop technical solutions, including appropriate hardware and software, to address business problems or enhance existing processes.
  • Oversee the implementation of new systems and conduct tests to ensure they function as expected.
  • Create technical documentation and train end-users on how to effectively utilize new systems.
  • Stay informed about new technologies and report on the cost-benefit analysis of potential IT upgrades to management.
