Summary: We are seeking to add to our team of CISRS Instructors in Waltham Forest. The role is for Scaffolders/existing CISRS Instructors who wish to progress their careers and share their skills and experience with others progressing in the industry. As a provider rated as ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted, we offer an excellent package that includes target earnings of £70k p/a, 30 days annual leave, a five‑day week and a stakeholder pension.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified to CISRS Advanced Scaffolder level with a minimum of five years’ experience, OR
  • Qualified to CISRS Scaffolder level with a minimum of ten years’ experience.

Full training and mentoring will be provided for those that require it, and development will follow our Instructor development plan, aiming to return fully qualified CISRS Instructors within one year of commencing employment.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn the apprentice journey and associated processes, and use scaffolding experience to coach, mentor, encourage and develop apprentice scaffolders.
  • Carry out periodic reviews of apprentice progress.
  • Work in both centre and site‑based environments.
  • Travel to other SIMIAN centres, including overnight stays in week‑long blocks, as required for development.
  • Must be based within a commutable distance of our Leytonstone centre; accommodation and travel allowance is not available for this role.
