Axioma By SimCorp is seeking a qualified experienced professional to join our Product Specialist team for Portfolio Management Solutions as a full-time employee, based in our London or Frankfurt office. The ideal candidate for this role is a motivated quantitative professional looking for an exciting and engaging role supporting investment professionals.
What You Will Be Responsible For:
- Engage with prospective clients on Axioma and SimCorp products in the field of Portfolio Management, explaining and demonstrating Axioma‘s unique value proposition in RFP/RFIs and by running proof of concept, and trial processes.
- Understand prospective clients’ needs and current workflows and guide them on the effective use of our software and risk models as well as Axioma's advanced tools to deliver impressive results.
- Cooperate with a dedicated list of existing clients to build long-term relationships, help them extract maximum value from Axioma products, and ensure high level product utilization, resulting in high retention.
- Provide subject-matter expertise on optimization, risk models, APIs, and portfolio analytics externally and internally.
- Work directly with the product management team to influence product enhancements and improvements, guided by prospect and client feedback as well as personal experience.
- Update and educate clients on new product features relevant to their use cases and product subscription.
- Provide feedback to the Product Management team in ongoing efforts to improve and expand Axioma’s product capabilities.
- Team up with implementation experts on product installation and integration in client environments.
- Coordinate and involve additional subject matter experts, product management, research colleagues and sales reps to ensure clients have answers to important technical and commercial questions in a timely fashion.
- Work with the Investment Decision Research and marketing teams on publications and engage with clients and prospects in all sorts of marketing events.
What We Value:
- Degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, finance, econometrics, or operations research.
- Experience with portfolio optimization, factor risk models, investment analytics, and performance attribution. Any practical experience in quantitative finance firms or vendors is a plus.
- Understanding of the use of APIs (Java, Python, R, Webservices, Matlab) is beneficial.
- Proficient in both oral and written forms of communication.
- Proficient skills in resolving complex issues are desired.
