The Value Stream Solution Architect is a senior, client‑facing market specialist with a deep understanding of SimCorp’s target industries, their end‑to‑end value chain, and key pain points. The role shapes, governs, and drives adoption of SimCorp One (SC One) Standards across the full Front‑to‑Back investment lifecycle. It partners with Sales and delivery leadership, owns end‑to‑end solutioning, leads Fit‑to‑Standard workshops, articulates trade‑offs, and ensures customisation is introduced only when truly justified.
Core Responsibilities- Define and maintain the integrity of SC One Standards, ensuring consistency across governing assets and governing variances via fit assessments and escalation.
- Scope projects and lead Fit‑to‑Standard workshops, steering decisions toward standard‑first outcomes while clearly articulating trade‑offs.
- Design services‑enabled solutions aligned to client outcomes, embedding service‑management processes, tooling, compliance, and security.
- Translate requirements into standardised processes and measurable outcomes, partner with other Architects and Client Operations to embed standards into delivery plans and BAU transition.
- Provide senior leadership across delivery and value streams to drive strategy, roadmap input, and an operating model for standards‑based delivery.
- Coordinate across value‑stream and consulting teams, run design governance forums, and intervene when custom extensions threaten upgradeability.
- Embed operational processes and support models to ensure sustainability in run mode.
- Capture gaps and pain points, feeding them into Standards Governance and Product Management for continuous improvement.
- Design end‑to‑end solutions considering operational processes, SaaS constraints, and security, ensuring the solution is supportable and upgradeable.
- Oversee release and quality enablement, ensuring alignment with the standardised release process and required quality gates.
- Lead delivery architecture oversight, coordinating across teams and intervening where custom extensions jeopardise alignment.
- Operate in Azure DevOps as the system of record, maintaining architectural epics/features and linking decisions to backlog items.
- Translate implementation learnings into standard evolution, driving them back into governance to strengthen the SimCorp One standard.
Coordinate with the Value Stream Management Office to align solution architecture with governance processes and ways of working.
What We Value- 10+ years in solution/enterprise architecture, owning cross‑domain designs in large platforms.
- Prior client‑facing experience in complex asset management environments.
- Functional knowledge of SimCorp Dimension.
- Working knowledge of SaaS delivery constraints and Azure DevOps.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Ability to work in the office 2‑3 days a week per hybrid policy.

Location CompensationFor Toronto: $180,000.00 – $260,000.00 CAD annually (base pay varies by experience, skills and qualifications). For New York: $244,800 – $367,200 USD annually. Additional benefits include discretionary bonuses and group RRSP/TFSA plans.
