At its foundation, SimCorp is guided by our values — caring, customer success-driven, collaborative, curious, and courageous. Our people-centered organization focuses on skills development, relationship building, and client success. We take pride in cultivating an environment where all team members can grow, feel heard, valued, and empowered.

Why this role is important for us:

As a global leader in our space, SimCorp is on a journey to transform from a traditional enterprise software company into a technology-enabled services business, while sustaining our track record of double-digit, highly profitable growth. Connectivity Services is one of the fastest growing parts of this journey — it is the operational backbone that connects SimCorp with our clients’ ecosystem of asset servicers, counterparties, market utilities, fintech partners and trading venues. We are now recruiting for a Head of Connectivity to build and scale the teams that make client onboarding faster and more efficient, and that keep our clients running smoothly around the clock.

This is a fast-growing area of the business, and the team will be built up from the ground to support an expanding client base with connectivity, integration, and production support capabilities that can be applied consistently and repeatably across all clients.

As a Head of Connectivity, you will be a key member of the Leadership Team, reporting directly to Head of SMBS Value Stream.

What You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Build and grow the Connectivity Services team to keep pace with SimCorp’s fast-growing business and increasing client volumes.
  • Drive faster, more efficient client onboarding by building up team capacity and capability.
  • Scale up production support to deliver 24/5 coverage, ensuring operational continuity for clients around the clock.
  • Build repeatable, scalable processes and apply them uniformly across all clients to drive consistency, quality, and efficiency.
  • Establish and drive a continuous improvement culture: monitor SLAs and operational metrics, identify trends, and take proactive action to close gaps and lift performance over time.
  • Own and manage 3rd party engagements relevant to Connectivity Services, ensuring vendors and partners deliver to the standard our clients expect.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for client issues within Connectivity Services, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
  • Support the commercial organization in pipeline development, providing input on connectivity scope, feasibility, and delivery approach for prospective clients.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management to ensure the connectivity solution roadmap reflects client and operational needs.
  • Manage resources (people, budget, time) effectively to ensure outcomes are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact team performance or delivery.

What We Value:

  • 10+ years of experience delivering services to clients who consume mission-critical, enterprise software.
  • People leadership experience and a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing teams.
  • Domain experience within capital markets and its ecosystem for the Buy Side.
  • Experience managing production support operations, ideally including extended-hours or shift-based coverage models.
  • Solid track record designing and implementing repeatable, standardized operational processes across a client base.
  • Experience managing third-party / vendor relationships and engagements.
  • Comfortable operating as a senior escalation point for client-facing issues.
  • Established experience collaborating with Commercial, Product Management, and Operations functions.
  • Solid understanding of the technology industry and the fundamentals of a SaaS business.
  • Technical fluency in integration methods and messaging protocols is an added advantage.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance day-to-day detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Great collaborative skills, highly motivated, and result-oriented.
