Simco Engineers wish to recruit a proficient MIG and TIG welder with experience in welding Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Nickel alloys.
Butt and fillet welding pipe fittings and in house machined components, typically ½" NB to 2" NB in various schedules to a high standard. Welds are subject to full NDT including radiographic examination, dye penetrant inspection and magnetic particle inspection.
Evidence of previously held codings is desirable
Being able to read and understand weld procedures and engineering drawings and to measure and prepare work is essential
Previous manufacturing experience in a factory environment would be desirable.
