Who Are We? Simba Courier Logistics Ltd is a well-established, Glasgow-based courier service delivering in the Ayrshire area for the biggest eCommerce platform on the planet. Drivers will report daily to our depot at DXG2 β Baillieston Glasgow - Delivering to Ayrshire. Early start times, 6 or 9 hour work day. We are a weekend and week day operation.

What Are We Looking For?
- 6 months delivery experience is preferred with businesses such as Royal Mail, Asda, Tesco, Amazon delivery, Evri, Yodel, DPD, DX etc
- Full UK or EU driving license (essential)
- Proof of Right to Work
- We accept up to 6 points on your license (No CD, DR, DG or IN-related endorsements or TT codes)
- DBS check pass
- The ability to schedule your working days and turn up on time
- Great customer service and attention to detail
- Show up on time, every time and be responsible for your working days
- Flexible to service demands and instructions
- A good level of fitness
- Careful and safe driving
- Confident using a smart device or ability to learn new technology
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery van to transport goods to multiple drop-off locations
- Utilize commercial driving skills to navigate routes and deliver packages in a timely manner
- Handle heavy lifting tasks when loading and unloading cargo at warehouses
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery operations
- Utilize previous delivery driver experience to provide exceptional service to clients
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving and delivering goods
Other Information. We support you through the whole process of setting up as a driver. You will be your own boss. As a driver, you simply turn up 30 minutes before departure, load your van, and then head out on your delivery route. Itβs that simple. You will be using a hand-held device that helps to monitor your progress and explains your route.
