Simarco International is looking for an enthusiastic Logistics Apprentice to join our successful European Operations team in Gloucester. You don't need previous logistics experience. We'll give you full training and support while you work towards your Level 3 International Freight Forwarding Apprenticeship, gaining real experience in the exciting world of international logistics.
What You'll Be Learning
- Booking and managing international shipments using our Transport Management System.
- Communicating with customers and overseas logistics partners.
- Providing customers with shipment updates and ETAs.
- Working with our Transport, Customs and Warehouse teams.
- Learning about UK and EU customs requirements.
- Preparing shipping documents, load lists and manifests.
- Helping coordinate collections and working with third-party hauliers.
- Resolving customer queries and delivering great customer service.
You'll be given real responsibility while having the support of experienced colleagues around you as you develop your knowledge and confidence.
