Location: Stoke on Trent, United Kingdom

Salary: £14.58 to £15.21 per hour (rates vary by shift times)

Hours: Monday to Friday – 20:30 to 06:00 (to be confirmed by line manager)

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently receive, store, and dispatch customers’ goods in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Unload and load cargo to and from the warehouse and vehicles using a forklift truck, pallet truck, VNA MHE or by hand.
  • Load international groupage trailers following loading plans and pick and pack orders to ensure on‑time delivery.
  • Wrap and unwrap goods as required.
  • Manage stock and check loads for damage or missing items upon receipt.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inbound and outbound movements.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a logistics/warehouse environment, including vehicle loading/unloading.
  • Hands‑on experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift truck.
  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driving licence.
  • Experience loading international groupage trailers is an advantage.
  • Basic numeracy, literacy and computer skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Punctual, reliable and professional.
