We are currently recruiting a dynamic and detailâoriented European Export Planner to join our fastâpaced and friendly team in Witham.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate the smooth and costâeffective movement of goods across Europe.
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and partners, consistently utilising customer service skills.
- Maximise trailer payloads and consolidate cargo efficiently.
- Take ownership of customer enquiries, problemâsolve and deliver high service standards.
- Stay upâtoâdate with European transport regulations, customs procedures and market trends.
- Understand profit & loss and contribute to the company's longâterm success.
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience in European road freight forwarding.
- High level of customer service (faceâtoâface, telephone, email).
- Strong geographical knowledge and ability to plan European groupage trailers.
- Excellent commercial awareness and proactive problemâsolving mindset.
- Knowledge of customs procedures (training will be provided if required).
- Ability to consolidate cargo in the UK and maximise trailer payloads.
- Proficiency in a European language is a bonus but not essential.
