This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in logistics warehouse operations, ensuring safe and efficient processes, overseeing the unloading and storage of goods for import/export and delivery, and confidently stepping in to deputise for the Warehouse Manager when needed. A valid Counterbalance FLT certificate is essential.
Key Skills, Qualifications and daily responsibilities required to succeed in this role:
- Demonstrate experience within an operational warehouse environment/a logistics company would be beneficial
- A valid Counterbalance FLT certificate is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Recognised pass rate for GCSE in Maths and English
- Strong numeracy/literacy essential/excellent computer skills
- Team player, and a clear and confident communicator who can lead by example
- Accurate with a high level of attention to detail.
- Highly organised with ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- General understanding of customer accounts, Pallet in/out etc
- Be a Level 1 User on Cargowise
- Outbound - print picks, change locations, and finalise picks
- Inbound - Print labels for pallets, finalise a receipt
- Stock Checking
- Run relevant stock management reports.
- Understand and explain all paperwork associated with picks and receipts.
- Create and input the data in the relevant fields on a new import arrival.
- Able to check and arrive the import to receive authority to unload.
