Key duties & Responsibilities:
  • As a Transport Administrator, you will be responsible for planning and allocating Pallet Network consignments and collections, ensuring maximum efficiency and compliance.
  • You will support our drivers and warehouse teams with accurate documentation and serve as a key point of contact between depots and customers.
  • Plan and allocate consignments and collections for the local Palletforce fleet, optimising vehicle usage and route efficiency.
  • Produce vehicle and load manifests, ensuring all customer paperwork is accurately prepared and delivered to the warehouse and drivers.
  • Liaise with drivers to coordinate returns to the depot and ensure smooth handovers.
  • Act as the main point of contact for Pallet Network depots and drivers, handling calls and email queries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Provide excellent customer service support to both internal teams and external depots.
  • Assist the Line Manager with fleet headcount management and provide additional resources when required.
  • React promptly to any operational issues or emergencies that arise during the day.
  • Support any additional tasks as required by the Line Manager or a Company Director.
