We are urgently seeking reliable and experienced Warehouse Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join the groupage team at our Witham site. This is an immediate start; please apply today!
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in a logistics/warehouse environment
- Previous loading/unloading vehicles experience
- Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driving licence is essential
- Previous experience in loading international groupage trailers is an advantage
- Order picking and stock counting
- Basic numeracy, literacy, and computer skills
- Ability to function well as part of a team
- Diligent attention to detail and safety
- Ability to work under pressure
- Punctual, reliable, and professional
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of all customers' goods
- Unloading and loading cargo using a forklift truck, pallet truck, VNA MHE, or by hand
- Loading international groupage trailers in accordance with loading plans
- Pick and pack orders to ensure timely delivery
- Wrap and unwrap goods
- Stock management
- Check loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt
- Keep careful records of everything that comes in and goes out of the warehouse
- Daily housekeeping within the warehouse and site
