To further support, enable, and drive this journey, we're transitioning to a horizontal delivery model, aligned to client outcomes and are now recruiting for a Value Stream Architect to support the vision, strategy and operating principles for the value streams that will deliver the needed outcomes to our clients. The Value Stream Architect will use their experience to optimize the Value Stream operating model, actively seeking for efficiency and enhancements to the processes. As Value Stream Architect, you will be a key member of the Value Stream Management Office, reporting directly to the Head of Value Stream Management Office. You will provide support and guidance to the Heads of Value Streams and the Value Stream Team Leads as well as working closely with the Head of Service Excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with Value Stream Leadership, defining what constitutes value from the customer's perspective.
  • Identify and map out end-to-end processes (value streams) that deliver value to customers across products, services, and functions.
  • Analyze handoffs, system interactions, and organizational touchpoints to understand how value flows.
  • Interpret flow data (e.g., lead time, dependency maps, failure demand) to identify structural bottlenecks and areas for improvement and advise Value Stream Leadership team on prioritization of improvement initiatives.
  • Based on flow insights, recommend structural changes within or between value streams (e.g., redefining ownership, introducing collaboration or reducing dependencies) to optimize flow.
  • Oversee the creation and evolution of the value stream network at the enterprise level.
  • Coordinate cross-stream dependencies and identify duplication or opportunities for shared capabilities.
  • Guide decisions around platforms, tools, and training based on their impact on flow and value delivery.
  • Work with a wider leadership team in SimCorp (Application, Platform, Operations, Consulting) to ensure alignment of activities and resources around value creation.
  • Enable and support cross-cutting improvement efforts in Value streams.
  • Partner with Agile Coaches, Observability Specialists, Service Excellence and Content Operations specialists to ensure architecture supports responsive and resilient delivery systems.
  • Maintain clear, up-to-date visual artifacts (value stream maps, capability models, dependency maps) to support planning, communication, and decision-making.
  • Champion value stream thinking and architectural awareness across the organization.

What We Value:

  • 7+ years of experience in Lean, Agile, and Value Stream Management principles and practices.
  • Significant Value Stream experience with the ability to support and encourage effective teams.
  • Change tolerance and willingness to challenge the status quo to meet changing client needs and market opportunities.
  • Solid understanding of Lean Portfolio Management and its application in large-scale Agile environments.
  • Beneficial with Value Stream Management Foundation (VSMF) or similar Value Stream certification.
  • Proficient in communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse teams and engaging stakeholders across all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Deep process understanding and optimization mindset.
  • Ability to mobilize stakeholders and form trusting relationships in a broad organizational context.
  • Great collaborative skills, highly motivated supportive team member with a positive mindset.
  • Understanding of the technology industry and the fundamentals of a SaaS business.
