Join some of the most innovative thinkers in FinTech as we lead the evolution of financial technology. If you are an innovative, curious, collaborative person who embraces challenges and wants to grow, learn and pursue outcomes with our prestigious financial clients, say Hello to SimCorp! At its foundation, SimCorp is guided by our values — caring, customer success-driven, collaborative, curious, and courageous. Our people-centered organization focuses on skills development, relationship building, and client success. We take pride in cultivating an environment where all team members can grow, feel heard, valued, and empowered.

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead strategic solution sales engagements with Buy-Side Institutions across the UK. The individual will drive new client acquisition and expand existing relationships. You will represent the full Axioma portfolio—including portfolio construction, multi-asset class risk analytics and performance attribution—delivering tailored solutions that address complex investment and risk management needs. As part of covering the Buy-Side, this role can have a particular focus on engaging with hedge funds, which are a key segment for Axioma’s advanced analytics capabilities. Experience working with or selling into hedge funds is highly relevant and valued. As the commercial face of Axioma, you will engage with stakeholders from C-level executives to portfolio managers and risk analysts, articulating the business value of our solutions in a compelling and consultative manner.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Proactively identify and qualify opportunities, building a robust pipeline aligned with Axioma’s strategic growth objectives.
  • Own and drive your sales target by developing persuasive business cases that clearly demonstrate how Axioma’s solutions improve portfolio construction, optimise risk-return outcomes, and enable more confident investment decision-making.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client-specific investment and risk management challenges.
  • Demonstrate precision and persistence in uncovering client needs and aligning them with Axioma’s differentiated capabilities.
  • Facilitate impactful product demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concept sessions in partnership with pre-sales and product experts.
  • Own the creation and delivery of proposals, RFP responses, and contractual documentation, ensuring alignment with SimCorp’s governance standards.
  • Maintain deep industry knowledge and a consultative understanding of client objectives, including alpha generation, operational efficiency, and regulatory alignment.
  • Represent Axioma at key industry events, strengthening brand visibility and client engagement.

What we value:

Most importantly, you see yourself thriving in a role that blends strategic thinking, client engagement, and technical solution selling. We expect you to be good at several of the following and be able to - and interested in - learning the rest.

  • Demonstrated success in selling complex, data-driven solutions—ideally in portfolio analytics, risk management, or investment technology—consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, computer science, or a quantitative discipline; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
  • English fluency required; additional European language skills are a plus.
  • Strong ability to assess client needs, articulate value propositions, and tailor sales strategies to diverse stakeholders—from quants to CIOs.
  • Proven track record of managing structured sales cycles, including consultative selling, stakeholder alignment, and closing.
  • Deep understanding of the Asset Management and Financial Services landscape, including investment workflows, and performance/risk analytics.

Benefits:

Attractive salary, bonus scheme, and pension are essential for any work agreement. However, in SimCorp, we believe we can offer more. Therefore, in addition to the traditional benefit scheme, we provide a good work and work-life balance: flexible working hours and a hybrid model. And opportunities for professional development: there is never just only one route - we offer an individual approach to professional development to support the direction you want to take.
