The Business Development Representative (BDR) reports to the EMEA head of Axioma Sales and works very closely with the Axioma sales, pre-sales and marketing teams. Your role would be fundamental, concentrating on the EMEA market. This role offers excellent opportunities for career development with a focus on honing skills to transition into a Sales Manager role.
The primary responsibilities of the BDR are to:
- Effectively initiate communication via phone, email, social media and interact with relevant stakeholders to deliver Axioma messages that resonate with the recipient.
- Fine-tune and develop existing scripts and messages.
- Screen, qualify and nurture inbound marketing leads using SimCorp’s sales best practices.
- Follow up on inbound marketing leads and inquiries resulting from marketing campaigns to discover if there is a sales opportunity.
- Oversee the invitation process for Axioma promotional activities, ensuring the attraction and retention of prospective and current client interest.
- Enrich, update and clean the CRM system SalesForce. Research new contacts and keep accounts and contact information up to date.
- Log all interaction in SalesForce and use SalesForce reports to support the work.
- Provide product and solution information to prospective and current customers, keeping up-to-date on knowledge of the industry, as well as competitive posture of the company.
You contribute to the teamwork by:
- Working closely with the Sales and Marketing team to ensure that a consistent message is communicated to our prospects, customers or business partners.
- Providing feedback on marketing campaigns based on information gathered, to contribute to campaign improvement.
- Supporting sales with appointment setting.
- Entering leads, contacts, intelligence, interaction and maintaining records.
